TrickrGo ("we", "our", or "us") operates two apps: TrickrGo
(the customer app, for vehicle owners booking automotive services) and
TrickrGo Partner (the workshop-management app for automotive
service professionals). This Privacy Policy explains what data each app
collects, why we collect it, and how we handle it. By using either app you
agree to the practices described below.
1. Data We Collect
Account & Profile Information
- Phone number (used for OTP login and account identification)
- Name, address, and contact details you enter during registration
- For TrickrGo Partner users: business name and workshop details
- Profile photo (optional, uploaded by you)
Vehicle & Booking Information (TrickrGo customer app)
- Vehicle details you add (make, model, registration number, fuel type)
- Service booking history, selected service types, and appointment times
- Service request details and communication with workshops
Device Identifiers

Push notification token — When you grant notification
permission, we obtain an Expo push token (derived from Firebase Cloud
Messaging on Android). This token is a device-specific identifier used
exclusively to deliver job alerts, booking updates, and service reminders
to your device. It is stored on our servers and shared only with
Expo's push notification service (Expo Inc.) and Firebase (Google LLC)
solely for delivering your notifications. It is never used for
advertising, analytics, or sold to third parties.
Location

Approximate or precise GPS coordinates when you enable location for
emergency towing / roadside-assistance job features. Location is used
only in real time to match service requests and is not stored persistently.
Camera & Photos

Before / after photos of vehicles and jobs, captured with your permission
via the device camera or photo library. Photos are uploaded to our secure
storage and are visible only to authorised users of your workshop.
Usage & App Activity
- Job records, invoices, inventory items, and customer notes you create inside the app
- In-app chat messages between your workshop staff
- Crash and error logs (device model, OS version, stack trace) collected automatically to fix bugs
Financial Information

Invoice amounts, payment status, and UPI IDs you enter for business billing.
We do not store full payment card numbers. Payments are processed via
third-party gateways subject to their own privacy policies.
2. How We Use Your Data
- App functionality — creating and managing jobs, customers, inventory, employees, and invoices
- Push notifications — sending real-time alerts for new bookings, job updates, and reminders
- Security & fraud prevention — verifying identity via OTP and detecting suspicious activity
- Bug fixing — diagnosing crashes using anonymised error logs
- Service improvement — analysing aggregate, non-identifiable usage patterns
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Expo Inc. / Firebase (Google LLC) — to deliver push notifications to your device
- Cloud infrastructure providers — for secure hosting and storage (data is encrypted in transit and at rest)
- Legal authorities — if required by law or to protect rights and safety
4. Data Retention & Deletion
Account data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion
of your account and all associated data at any time from Settings →
Delete Account inside the app. Push notification tokens are deactivated
immediately when you revoke notification permission or delete your account.
5. Permissions
The app requests the following device permissions:
- Notifications — required to receive job and booking alerts (optional; you can deny)
- Camera — to capture vehicle photos for job records (optional)
- Photo Library — to attach existing photos to jobs (optional)
- Location — for emergency towing service features (optional)
All permissions are optional. Core workshop-management functionality works without granting any permission.
6. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+) and stored in encrypted databases.
Access is restricted to authenticated users. We perform regular security reviews.
7. Children
This app is intended for business professionals aged 18 and over.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Significant changes will be
notified within the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
